A look at cookbooks

I've often bought cookbooks for my other half, especially if I saw something in it that I was interested in trying. Funny, as many of these cookbooks I am now using or pursuing. The one thing all of these cookbooks have in common is that they have beautiful photographs and what I would consider simple recipes in them - by simple meaning that even a grouch in the kitchen like me can follow them. They usually involve very few steps and not too many ingredients.
